Talk:Hellstar (5e Creature)
From D&D Wiki
gee. someone deleted someone else's monster creation all and only because it was "abandoned for 1 year"? I WAS PLANNING ON USING THIS MONSTER IN MY OWN CAMPAIGN SETTING AND NOW IT IS GONE AND I DID NOT SAVE IT!!!!! WTF?! :( PLEASE PUT THIS MONSTER BACK! SOME OF US WERE WANTING TO USE IT AND HAD LINKED TO IT FOR OUR OWN PURPOSES! thanks-- ProphetPX (talk) 15:48, 20 May 2017 (UTC)
- An admin should be able to restore it (if there's no response on here, try an admin talk page), but it was deleted because there was an issue with it, such as being incomplete or broken and no one trying to fix it. It's standard procedure, and unless the page had illegal or spam contents, it should have been marked with a deletion template for at least 14 days (but sometimes longer) before being deleted. Understand that if it's restored, it may be deleted again in the future if the issues with it are not fixed, but you should be given plenty of time to do so :)--GamerAim (talk) 16:19, 20 May 2017 (UTC)
- If you like a page, you can always save it using archive.is like I do. Just throwing that out there. 2602:306:3317:2900:11BE:A384:5627:26D5 17:53, 20 May 2017 (UTC)
- I've restored it. As you can see, it is missing feats, spells, a CR, and the description of several special qualities. If you're planning on using it in your campaign, you'll need to fill those blanks, and if you can do that then it ain't abandoned no more. Marasmusine (talk) 18:16, 20 May 2017 (UTC)
Since no-one is going to finish this, I'm thinking of converting it to 5e. Any objections? Marasmusine (talk) 07:25, 1 June 2017 (UTC)
