Infernal Aegis: "In addition, whenever a creature within 5 feet of you hits you with a melee Attack, you can use your reaction to cause the Shield to erupt with flame. The attacker takes 2d8 fire damage." Attack and Shield are not capitalized. And what shield this feature is talking about ?

if you run paladin/hellknight, you get up to 2 4th level spells and I'm 90% sure you can double smite following this
