Problems[edit]

Looking at this weapon, there appear to be numerous balance problems and other issues which I will try to go over.

  • The image isn't attributed and has questionable copyright status yet is was uploaded to the wiki. Due to this, the image either needs info on why it is fair use/good licensing or possibly deleted due to copyright infringement.
  • Back to the weapon, the weapon's rarity is strangely unique which isn't a standard rarity, it is a homebrew rarity found here which has items that are more powerful than legendary items. If this weapon is using that ruleset, it needs some changes to follow unique item's formatting and needs to add [[Category:Unique]] to the page.
  • Damage. Frankly speaking this weapon's damage is far too much. Not only does it change how much damage a glaive does for seemingly no reason, but the weapon deals absurd damage. If a legendary weapon's sole property gave it bonus damage, it would give around 4d6 additional damage(double flame tongue). It can be assumed that unique weapons would be a bit more powerful so around 4d8/5d6 additional damage would be an unique weapon's sole property, however this weapon lets you deal more damage than that and has additional properties.
  • Life Cleave. This property is simply broken. No effect should allow you to deal damage for an infinite duration without a pretty easy way of preventing this damage(action to put out fire, spells that deal damage each turn require concentration which can be broken, ect.). Simply put, this property needs to be reworked as the weapon already deals a lot of damage and could use more unique properties.
  • Murderous Aura. Item's saving throws are static, it isn't clear how this property is used, and this property is both too strong and needs to have limited uses. The property is too strong as it is effectively an aoe stun that lasts more than a single round. For examples on how to make this property more balanced, the sleep spell is a good example.

Besides these issues, there are minor other issues such as what creatures specifically do not bleed, but alas this weapon needs a lot of work before it is balanced.--Blobby383b (talk) 14:47, 19 July 2021 (MDT)

With how much you nerfed it I'm not going to lie to you this just objectively worse Because you nerfed it into the ground like I was thinking about coming back and fixing my issues with it but you nerfed it into the absolute ground ain't no one is picking this up in any D&D honestly I'd rather you just deleted I'm not going to lie to you I made this literally off an item that was in D&D in third edition
