This may be a little out there but I'm hoping to make it work. Any and all comments/questions are welcome so this can be polished up or modified to make it more playable in more situations. Noritsune (talk) 15:18, 10 February 2021 (MST)Noritsune

I have to say overall, you did a pretty fine job on the race. The only real issues I see are with the traits talons and eagle eye. For talons, the trait is frankly far too powerful as it allows you to have almost monk level damage per round on a flying race. I would suggest that the trait just be changed to not allow the attack as a bonus action. For eagle eye, you are either proficient in a skill or you are not proficient in a skill. Traits similar to this usually give you advantage on the ability check instead of proficiency in it.--Blobby383b (talk) 18:41, 3 May 2021 (MDT)
Appreciate the feedback and moving this page! I originally felt the race was a touch under powered and why I added the extra attack there. I forget where I got the wording for Eagle Eye, but I'll switch that to just having proficiency in the skill based on sight related checks. Noritsune (talk) 19:44, 3 May 2021 (MDT)
I have gone ahead and changed eagle eye's wording so it is more similar to the dwarf's stonecutting, minus the double proficiency bonus as that would probably be too strong. Besides that, I closely looked through the race's lore and did a number of tweaks and revisions to its wording when I noticed incomplete sentences or unclear wording. I am not sure whether more work needs to be done to the wording, but I believe with the changes the wording flows much better.--Blobby383b (talk) 10:07, 4 May 2021 (MDT)
Much appreciated! Its hard to reread what you wrote and have it read properly sometimes. Didn't have anyone to proofread my initial copy of this so I do appreciate all of your help! Noritsune (talk) 21:16, 5 May 2021 (MDT)
I understand where you are coming from, it is often quite helpful to have others read through your writing as you sometimes gloss over things. Really, I am happy to help out, and if needed, feel free to reach out to me or others on the wiki or on the wiki's discord for feedback whenever you need it. Best of luck to you in your future homebrews!--Blobby383b (talk) 15:31, 6 May 2021 (MDT)
