Balance[edit]
This does not seems balanced to me. They gain rage 3/day and bonus' to two abilities, with the negative side being a movement speed of 20 feet; all at LA 0. --Green Dragon 04:53, 2 March 2009 (MST)
- Actually, movement speed of 20 feet for a halfling isn't a downside. A small creature gets bonus to armor etc which eventually balances the -10ft out.
- Anyway, I think the concept of this race is a little strange. Its either underpowered for +1LA or overpowered for +0La. If the race is simply Halfling + rage + 2str, I'd rather have the Lightfoot Halfling and take a barbarian class level. I'd get an +2 Strength item later in the game anyway, and it would give me all barbarian class features one level earlier than taking this race. If I were the creator of this, I'd just make them strength-based halflings, change some of the original features (+1 racial bonus with swords instead of thrown weapons, +2 racial to skills into stuff like bullrush or grapple? And just swap the +2 Dex -2 Str around.) Thats my two cents. (EDIT: Oh, and offcourse keep the favored: Barbarian. I love the Idea of raging halflings)

You raise a good point, both of you, what I think I'll do, will to have a strengh adjustment of 0, but keep the -2 charisma, I just think it makes sence, edit a few bits and peices, and maybe give them Powerful Build, like Goliaths, in order to make them more Barbarian-esque, and keep them at a +1 adjustment. --Avatar of the Void (AKA M.Gailey)
- Hmm, I couldn't find info on the Powerful Build (apperantly it's not SRD?), but I'd still change the +2 Dex for +2 Str, not only because it fits the character more, but if you don't have +2 Str then the fluff for -2 Cha isn't true anymore =p

it's a confusing problem Avatar of the Void
Something Familer about this...hmmm...this wouldn't happen to be based off a certain halfing from a certain comic about a certain order about a certain object that comes off a tree? Would it? --BrenTenkage (talk) 13:25, 21 February 2014 (MST)
