Considering[edit]

Deleting this template, Spellborg is much better made and has the same concept. --Sabre070 02:33, 12 November 2008 (MST)

They may have the same concept but they have diffrent applications. I have always thought of the Half-forged template to be a way to get back lost body parts and would use this over the Spellborg if i was given the chance. --Shoukin 18:01, 6 January 2009 (MST)
Why? The only real difference here is that "half-forged" limits you to missing limbs and the like, and is rather bland in how it actually affects the character. The Spellborg writeup (could use a better name, but eh) has more applications, better grammar, more interesting game mechanics, etc. 65.60.181.48 00:50, 8 June 2009 (MDT)
I agree. The spellborg concept is a lot better, and actually deals with level adjustment well. Like, for this half-forged, I could get 2 arm implants and be a freaking beastly barbarian orc all for -4 in charisma (which I never plan to use, seeing as I'll be smashing stuff right and left with my greataxe the whole time). --For Valor 01:18, 2 July 2009 (MDT)
I dunno if I'm too late, but a quick and dirty fix would be to change the stat penalties. Male the Cha penalty a equal to the bonus for limb replacements, and to be honest, I can't see getting a limb replaced making you more dexterous. 71.181.208.46 06:15, 28 November 2009 (MST)
