Talk:Half-Elven (5e Subrace)

Darkvision was excluded from the humanoid subraces, due to it overlapping with most core race darkvision, and overpowering the Subrace Human variant this was intended to work with. If you want a more core-race-similar half-elf, try a Half-Human Elf. I really do not agree with the idea of the subrace granting whole new sensory capabilities to a base race. The only exception was the half-dwarven subrace, as there was little else that could be used. (the other traits are cultural, not physical) Even then, I used a reduced version of darkvision there. --Kydo (talk) 17:34, 13 January 2016 (MST)
