Talk:Greatsword of Cleaving (5e Equipment)

ATM, being a +1 weapon with an interesting feature as rare doesn't bother me. The fact that it has no cap bothers me though... I think it would work better with a cap to AC reduction, let's say, you can't reduce AC by an amount greater than your STR mod for example...(capping it at -6 AC with a 20th level barbarian, maybe -7 AC if they get their hands on a manual of Stronkness or Ioun Stone) MoDuckyMo (talk) 14:39, 9 October 2020 (MDT)
- Thanks for the suggestion of a cap to the AC reduction, it was probably needed. Besides that though, I would be against having the AC reduction and bonus to damage/hit be more than what you could possibly get if the weapon just gave a bonus to attack and damage rolls(+1 for uncommon/+2 for rare/+3 for very rare/+4 for legenedary), especially since the AC reduction allows both you and other party members to hit more often.--Blobby383b (talk) 19:16, 9 October 2020 (MDT)
