Talk:Giganotosaurus (5e Creature)
From D&D Wiki
The latest edits have increased this creature's defensive CR to 19, and its offensive CR to 15. To call this a CR 14 fight would be laughable. It's almost as hard to kill as a Tarrasque. I will therefore be reverting said edits and adjusting the creature to fit neatly into a CR 11 slot, as calculated by the tools in the DMG. --Nuke The Earth (talk) 23:18, 9 December 2020 (MST)
- The edit is now complete, and the creature has an Offensive CR of 12 with a Defensive CR of 10. It is a well-balanced creature, so far as I can discern. Please refrain from less-than-constructive edits. --Nuke The Earth (talk) 23:20, 9 December 2020 (MST)
- With the addition of the Swallow feature this creature's Offensive CR has been adjusted to 14, and its Defensive CR remains 10, for a new overall CR of 12. Kindly refrain from fiddling with the damage dice, and note that a 'head slam' attack is wholly unnecessary. Compare to first-party Tyrannosaurus statblock. --Nuke The Earth (talk) 14:59, 2 July 2023 (MDT)
