Foreword[edit]

This Variant class is just to improve on the preexisting Tokyo Ghoul class found here. As I found it had not been updated in a while, although I first added these updates to that previous class without the creators permission. I quickly changed the class back to how it was before my meddling. Again I would like to apologize for that mistake to the creator of the original class.

This version uses the originals ability's and Central ideas with major additions I added on top so not everything on this page was written word for word by myself, again the original is here, and is a lovely creation.

As for my Additions- Almost all the numbers involved are changed and rebalanced as well as granting new ability's to weaker kakuge so all four are useful in there own ways. In fact almost every aspect of the Class has been added to, Including some flavor text I added in to make the class more fun to read. I would like to thank all the hard work the original creator put into the class and would love to see people enjoy my interpretation on there work, and hopefully reignite the original creators passion for the class as well as other users.

Suggestions And Questions[edit]

Not really to nag or nitpick, but shouldn't there be a feature that makes the kagunes magical for the purpose of overcoming resistance and immunities? Almost every class that relies on natural weapons has this feature, and my DM is kinda a cock block about it and says everyone has resistance to my attacks, making me virtually useless because I have no other weapons. --Fellow creator, Picigu9 (talk) 21:19, 26 August 2020 (MDT)

Just wondering, but what particular Kagune are you using? Generally, Kagune deal quite a bit more damage than an average fighter save for Koukaku, which is much more about defense than damage. Resistance only halves damage, so I don't really see how you're being useless. Not saying it's not happening, I'd just like more information before making an edit.--Ref3rence (talk) 22:43, 26 August 2020 (MDT)

Something I noticed=[edit]

The rinkaku and ukaku are leagues ahead of the other kagune at what they do. Rinkaku gets free advantage and a massive amount of attacks, and it gets more tentacles as it levels up, making it hard for an enemy to take out the tentacles even with their lower hit point total. Ukaku is just the rinkaku, but costs more rc cells to maintain and is ranged. Meanwhile, the koukaku is just an outright nerf. A +1 AC is not worth taking half the speed. Not to mention the AC bonus is really underwhelming, starting at +1 and maxing out to +4. This AC bonus is about enough to keep the Ghoul unarmored AC on par with armored AC at most levels, and thats in exchange for 15 ft of movement max on a turn? To make it worse the koukaku only deals 1d8 damage, while something like the rinkaku does 1d10 while also being a melee combat focused kagune. BigDunzles (talk)
