Talk:Ghost Rider, Variant (5e Class)

Why does this 5e homebrew class use the Pathfinder Phantom Steed spell? The Born Rider level 2 feature makes mention of this more, making quite a few of those abilities unusable. Also, what is the range on 5th level ability Hellish Visage? None is listed, so is it unlimited? That seems kind of strong.--Halbech (talk) 13:52, 5 March 2022 (MST)

Another thing I see, level 6 Penance Stare ability. "This attack can be used once per use of "Unleash the Demon"." But later in the ability it says, "At 20th level this attack can hit three targets within 10 feet of each other. Against neutral targets the damage is 10d8, but against an evil target the damage is 20d8. Usable a number of time equal to your proficiency bonus times per “Unleash the Demon”" Does this mean that at level 20 it switches to a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, or is this just two conflicting statements?--Halbech (talk) 14:24, 5 March 2022 (MST)

Another thing, the level 10 ability One with the Demon. "You don't need to breath, eat or drink and while in this new form you gain Immunity to Fire and poison, resistance to necrotic, slashing, piercing, and bludgeoning, Devil's Sight, and your hellfire horse-" What is resistance to Devil's sight? Or is this poorly worded and meant you get the Eldritch invocation Devil's Sight? Additionally, the level 10 ability Biblical in Scope, like Born Rider, uses Pathfinder rules and terminology. --Halbech (talk) 17:12, 5 March 2022 (MST)
