Guideline for single-use weapons[edit]

Such as grenades.

Level vs. AC vs. NAD Damage
1 +6 +4 2.25
2 +7 +5 2.5
3 +8 +6 2.75
4 +9 +7 3
5 +10 +8 3.25
6 +11 +9 3.5
7 +12 +10 3.75
8 +13 +11 4
9 +14 +12 4.25
10 +15 +13 4.5

Damage multipliers:

Simple, AoE x4
Simple, single x5
Average, AoE x5
Average, single x6

In addition, there will always be some secondary effect.

  • Simple grenades can have the equivalent to an at-will effect or one simple weapon mod.
  • Average grenades can have the equivalent to an encounter effect or one average weapon mod.

These weapons should not outshine a PCs normal attacks. They should be desirable to buy to fill gaps in the variety of attacks available to the party, but not to be a primary mode of attack. Marasmusine (talk) 03:07, 14 July 2013 (MDT)
