Talk:Fulminating Gold (3.5e Equipment)

As per page 112 of the PHB on Table 7-3: "Trade Goods" 1 pound of gold weighs 50 gp. With this item weighing one pound, the absolute most gold you could gain out distilling it is therefore only 50 gp, not 300 gp - although one would expect to get even less than 50 gp due to other reagents in the original alchemical concoction. It would still make sense for the cost to create to be 300 gp. Otherwise, this is an interesting idea for an item.
