Talk:Fiery Soul (5e Feat)

So... at 20th level, I have a +21 bonus to my spell save DC for "fire spells". Also, what is a fire spell? A spell that deals fire damage? A spell that alters temperature? SirSprinkles (talk) 09:01, 17 April 2017 (UTC)

I've altered the talent a bit, maybe now it's more plausible. Besides, I do not think I have any problems with "fire spells" but I'll change it to evocation spells that deal fire damage. 13:46, 17 April 2017

Not all spells that deal fire damage belong to the evocation school. One example would be heat metal, a transmutation spell. SirSprinkles (talk) 20:13, 17 April 2017 (UTC)
Then one solution would be to adopt that this talent applies to all spells that do damage to the fire element plus I think that 5 of bonus to damage is still too much, maybe it gets more balanced if the damage bonus is equal to that of proficiency 11:11, 19 April 2017

The page was left unedited for two months, so I took some freedom to rework on it. I added some additional features that would better describe having a fiery soul, and edited the spell damage bonus to better fit the 5e mechanisms. I took some leaves out of UA articles and Sharpshooter feat from PHB. --WeirdoWhoever (talk) 15:42, 9 June 2017 (UTC)
