Nice Job[edit]

Just wanna say nice balance job on this Blobby. Looks good and something I'd like to see in my campaign. BigShotFancyMan (talk) 13:37, 14 December 2017 (MST)

The weapon was changed again, but it still does not scale too much as both scale based on your level, but this one is initially much stronger(if you are high enough level), but overall has less damage potential. What do you think of making the old version into a variant of the weapon?--Blobby383b (talk) 22:29, 16 December 2017 (MST)
Okay so I've reposted the original as a variant. The reason I made changes was after posting it on reddit I got more feedback on ways to improve it and I liked those suggestions. Either way works, it's just what is more preferable to the DM and the player.Halflingbarbarian (talk) 01:09, 17 December 2017 (MST)
I am liking the new version more than the old version, and adding the Power of the Soul effect was genius, so I am adding it to the old version as well. I would also like to say the weapon has come a long way since the original version that scaled infinitely.--Blobby383b (talk) 02:38, 17 December 2017 (MST)
I wasn't much a fan of the original. Very wordy. Question now is the need for sets of two on the souls used? Why couldn't this be single souls and the die changed to 1d6? It is a simpler approach in my mind.BigShotFancyMan (talk) 06:55, 18 December 2017 (MST)
Each soul blocks 2d6 on separate damage rolls I believe. So you are hit once you get damaged reduced by 2d6 then if you are hit again and the damage is reduced by 2d6. How does changing the effect to a single soul and allowing you to regain it on a short rest as well sound?--Blobby383b (talk) 11:59, 18 December 2017 (MST)
I was very unhappy with 1/long rest so seeing a short rest recharge I'd love to see. Single soul just makes sense to me. If there is a reason for two I've no issue, merely curious about why that quantity. If the OP is in favor of the changes cool beans! BigShotFancyMan (talk) 13:02, 18 December 2017 (MST)
