Talk:Eldritch Gatling Gun (5e Optimized Character Build)

With TCoE released now, are there any ways we can update/improve this build? What came to mind for me was the new Eldritch Adept feat with the Custom Lineage.

Choose either vHuman, or Custom Lineage to get a feat to start with Eldritch Adept and choose Agonizing Blast. First level is Hexblade Warlock to get the Eldritch Blast cantrip, which is the prerequisite for Agonizing Blast. The next 4 levels can all be Sorcerer so that you'll have A) 1 more Sorcery Point, B) 1 more 2nd level spell slot to convert to 2 more SPs (though losing 1 1st level Warlock spell slot), and C) an ASI to bump CHA +2. This gives a net gain of 2 Sorcerer Points along with an ASI.

I just revisited this for the first time in almost 8 months. I went ahead and incorporated that into the page as an alternate, and slightly better build. Thanks for the tip! --MarshDASavage (talk) 18:53, 22 April 2021 (MDT)
