Damage Resistance on Armor[edit]

Looking at this armor, while it might be thematic to have flat out resistance to fire damage, it is extremely unbalanced. For example, the rare magic armor the armor of resistance gives you resistance to a damage type and requires attunement to gain this benefit. Also, according to the DMG a rare item could cost ~5000 gp, but gold costs for magic items vary by campaign. Regardless, fire damage resistance is far too much for a mundane piece of armor to grant you, as such, I have made the armor instead give a small amount of damage reduction to fire, similar to how the duelist's vest functions and increased the weight as 1/2 weight for little cost is far too good.--Blobby383b (talk) 16:09, 31 March 2020 (MDT)
