The claws of the Disassembly subrace are based on the claws that the official tabaxi race has, which is why they use a d6 and the Strength modifier. Also, the overall race is based on the official warforged race, which is why Constitution is the universal ability score improvement and Strength is the Disassembly subrace's ability score improvement.
