Talk:Dreadnought Armor (5e Equipment)
From D&D Wiki
If this is made from adamantine, it should be classified as a magical item, like adamantine armor is. SirSprinkles (talk) 06:02, 9 March 2020 (MDT)
- As this doesn’t have any special effect like adamantine armor, I do not believe it should be. -Ref3rence (talk) 06:50, 9 March 2020 (MDT)
- On the other hand, it has the price of a very rare magic item and has "runes" that reduce its weight. If it looks like a duck and sounds like a duck...
- If you want something like this in the campaign, I don't know why you can't just use +2 magical plate armor. Marasmusine (talk) 07:00, 9 March 2020 (MDT)
- That is a valid point I had not considered. While I still believe there is a place in the mechanics for a harder, slower armor, this page may as well be deleted as I have no intention of fixing it in the near future, and Meowfish, the only other contributor, left the page stubbed for months after posting it originally before I made it slightly playable. -Ref3rence (talk) 08:25, 9 March 2020 (MDT)
