Talk:Dexterous (5e Feat)
From D&D Wiki
Besides improving the grammar/terminology of this feat, I did change one aspect of the feat, which was the part on allowing you to use your Dexterity score for damage rolls of melee weapons. This was done for a variety of different reasons, some of which include:
- Using your Dexterity score for damage rolls and not attacks rolls is extremely odd and I don't believe there is any instances in 5e where you use different ability scores for damage/attack rolls.
- Using your Dexterity score for damage rolls with melee attacks, doesn't make sense in the context of what melee weapons are with many being heavy, 2-handed, or otherwise related to the use of Strength.--Blobby383b (talk) 20:50, 28 August 2018 (MDT)
