Talk:Dagger of Adrenaline (5e Equipment)
From D&D Wiki
Although I don't like that the weapon breaks the max bonus(+4 you were right), I agree that successfully hitting and having to go on the offensive to gain these benefits, balances this weapon. However, on my first inspection, this weapon broke several rules(round counting, what I thought was the max of +3, and gaining bonus to attack and damage rolls as a common weapon), and I was arguably upset after looking at both this weapon and several other weapons that needed to be reworked and acted rashly.
On another note, I don't believe it would be bad to add Very rare and higher items start at a +1 bonus and revert to that after the time is up or you miss an attack. back to the weapon to prevent the very rare and legendary versions of this weapon from feeling too weak.--Blobby383b (talk) 22:02, 4 October 2017 (MDT)
True, the first version of this weapon was quite badly made. Sorry about that. That's a good suggestion about the passive bonus though. --AngelsAndAarakocra (talk) 01:45, 5 October 2017 (MDT)
