With very few exceptions, unlocking a new spell slot is considered the sole class feature for that level: so you might have too many class features here. Marasmusine (talk) 03:48, 16 November 2015 (MST)

I have removed a number of class features that I found a bit superfluous and overall not needed for the class. Anything else? SirSprinkles (talk) 16:42, 3 December 2015 (MST)

Yes, there are a few places where the terminology should be clearer. For example, let's look at "Ruinous Hex - When you cast a damaging spell, you may expend 3 Hex Points to make the attack become critical on a roll of 19 or 20. "
We can reasonably say that "damaging spell" is a "spell that deals damage", but the effect adjusts the critical hit range on an attack roll. Not all spells that deal damage have an attack roll. This should say "When you make a spell attack roll."
There's something else about this hex though. I spend 3 hex points (which is all my hex points at 3rd level) go from 5% to 10% chance of a crit. The odds are I won't get a critical hit, so I will mostly likely feel sad that I wasted all my points.
To keep with the theme of "ruinous", maybe something like "After you cast a spell that deals damage, you can spend 3 hex points. If you do so, one target of the spell has vulnerability to the damage type dealt by the spell for 1 turn." Marasmusine (talk) 06:13, 4 December 2015 (MST)

I'm also not sure about some of the spells. I think that some of them seem a bit... odd for a dark caster to have... SirSprinkles (talk) 18:38, 4 December 2015 (MST)
