There's not really any way to immediately know. For all we know, the uploader (Cugertha) could have been Raph himself. Regardless of that, the uploaded image appears to be a collage or remixed content, likely created by Cugertha considering there are no other copies of this exact image on the internet. Freely remixed content has very little legal protection despite it proliferating so vastly throughout the internet (memes). Most that create it rely on the fact that their work is unmonetized and fringe enough to go unnoticed (don't ask, don't tell), which I think is definitely applicable here. As stated on the "upload file" page, we really don't want to host "fair use" images. We do have a lot of pages that work around this and link to external images. Although have done this myself in the past, it is a gray area, and I am in the process of switching these to free-license AI-generated works instead. Marasmusine (talk) 09:45, 2 February 2024 (MST)
