Talk:Concubus (5e Race)

Hello, I'm one of the original creators of this race, different account, and would like to address the stub that has recently been added. But first, I'd like to thank people visiting this page for their interest in the race and the modifications made to help balance this character option.

For the first questions of the stub "What is the "sweet kiss" spell? And there's also racial trait called Sweet Kiss that isn't a spell?" It was originally a spell bundled with the race, but was later changed into a trait by someone else. I like this change, and since this is meant to be a sort of weaker fiend I will just delete mention of Sweet Kiss as a spell and instead the Concubus will only get two spells from the Charming Legacy trait since the intended spell at 3rd level became a trait instead.

For: "I'm not sure what 'If you pass a saving throw of 12 Wisdom...' means, is this an additional DC 12 saving throw?" My bad. It was meant to be a single DC 12 wisdom saving throw because I had played a bard prior to making this race and I had accidentally wrecked every fight with a Sleep spell because it didn't have a saving throw attached to it. However, this question implies that there are other ways to magically fall asleep. So I will change it to advantage and then specify if magic doesn't have a saving throw attached to sleep effect, Concubus will require DC 12 wisdom saving throw.

For: "Missing height and weight table" Although I'm not entirely sure why it's required, since the books don't seem to have these tables, I have noticed that many of the complete races I've seen do have these tables, including an earlier race I attempted to build. So I've added one for sake of completion and to keep it in line with other races. But, I am not sure if the one I made is any good. -Tatsuen (talk) 01:55, 27 October 2016 (MDT)

The height and weight table can be found on PHB p.121. Nobody here has the patience to construct an SMW system to collect this information from every single race into a separate table, and doing so would be less useful to other users, so we just leave it on each race page. --Kydo (talk) 04:03, 27 October 2016 (MDT)
