Just Some Thoughts[edit]

I like what you are going for here but think a simpler approach would be to allow advantage if you aren't rushed and have proficiency in both skills. ~ BigShotFancyMan 09:46, 13 May 2019 (MDT)

Mm, so I assume you're saying it would probably be good to add an extra section saying something about that for situations where the check isn't being pressured? - Alice-chan (talk) 10:03, 13 May 2019 (MDT)
I am saying that I interpret this variant rule like 3.5e skill synergy system where if you had so many ranks in a skill you got a +2 bonus to another skill. So when you want to Stealth on slick surface, using Acrobatics as well, then if your proficient in both you can have advantage since that is how 5e handles things typically instead of adding bonus.
Your idea, which again isn't too bad, allows adding the proficiency bonus again, and I haven't dived deep into but with expertise how would that work? Its GMs world though and if anything I will keep this in mind for my own table. ~ BigShotFancyMan 10:16, 13 May 2019 (MDT)
Well, I suppose you could feel free to try adding an alternative form of handling this kind of thing to the page if you'd like, which could allow DMs options for how to handle it. I appreciate your feedback either way. - Alice-chan (talk) 10:32, 13 May 2019 (MDT)
That is a superb idea! Thanks. ~ BigShotFancyMan 11:17, 13 May 2019 (MDT)
