Balance Issues[edit]

I see you are still editing this, but you need to do something about the getting 4 abilities at level 1, high BAB, and 2 high saves. Also, you are getting WAY too many attacks with adrenaline. --Ganre 06:14, 19 May 2009 (MDT)

Double dex to ac is Borked. And i fail to see a reason for normal rogue compared to this. you lose a d6 SA for rediculous number of attacks, freebies and an over the top AC. This class needs to be raped with a Nerf bat (I meant toned down if anyone actually thought of Rape and a Nerf bat). --Name Violation 01:36, 24 September 2009 (MDT)
Holy cow, i don't know if you are mental in the head, or you missed it or just didn't think it through, but ponder this quandary: A 10th level multiclassed combat rogue gets to add 1 to his AC per level in combat rogue per point of dexterity, so if he has a dex of 25, basically what your telling me is his
AC = 25 x 10 so he now has an AC of 250. TWO HUNDRED AND FIFTY!!! FIX IT.
Talking about playing something like this in my next campaign that I can actually PC in. Since this class seems to have been abandoned for almost a year, me and my DM are going to go over it together and attempt to balance some of the mechanics. WARNING: This may result in heavy mechanic editing. We will keep a log of what we've changed and how we've changed it, here on the talk page. Hopefully this will be a little more balanced but probably still high powered by the time we're done. If anyone has suggestions for it, or reservations against it please add them here before we begin work. --Geigan 04:37, 25 March 2010 (UTC)
Scratch that. You changed it from Score to Bonus. Nevermind... --Jay Freedman 22:43, 25 March 2010 (UTC)

I thank you guys for taking this over. Forgot about it for quite some time. I did end up playing it for quite some time in a campaign and indeed found it to be quite overpowered. That's what playtesting is for though. I usually like to aim high in a class, then strip certain things away while still keeping flavor. Hopefully, I'll be able to throw in a few constructive edits myself. --Truvias 22:00 Oct. 6 2010

Class Features[edit]

Minor edit to the dexterous dodging ability. I'm pretty sure the author of the class meant double the dex bonus to AC, not actual dex total, doubled and added to AC. --Geigan 04:40, 25 March 2010 (UTC)

Assassin[edit]

Is the combat rogue a base class version of the assassin?--209.97.85.48 13:23, 19 March 2016 (MDT)
