Talk:Chuckster (5e Feat)
From D&D Wiki
The issues I find with this feat are the damage along with no save for being knocked prone by the thrown creature. The max damage this feat can do is 5d6 + a creature's Strength modifier which is decently high. A rogue with a shortsword can do this without the aid of magic pretty much only at 7th level via sneak attack. (Or 5th level and two shortswords for a comparable action economy: an action and bonus action.) Being able to take this at 1st level has some serious potential for damage that exceeds feasible levels for say a level 1 PC. Additionally, why wouldn't the thrown creature at least get a save to not be knocked prone and possibly take less damage? PunnyDM12 (talk) 14:28, 25 December 2018 (MST)
