- Chromatic Foresight is overpowered, having advantage on attack rolls, ability checks, or saving throws for any amount of time is considered a really strong feature. I would recommend choosing ability checks or saving throws for a 1 minute duration. Besides that, how long does mediating take with Chromatic Mind? Usually meditating for a long rest takes 4 hours, so that would work for the 1 hour duration. Chromatic Paragon gives you access to too much, choose either the legendary actions/resistances or all the other part of the feature to keep, and melee damage should be expanded to bludgeoning, slashing, and piercing damage. Specialized Martial Training, Mounted Combatant, and Chromatic Surge are broken/overpowered as well. Specialized Martial Training should not add that much damage to your attacks, especially when you have 3 attacks, it would be more balanced if you only added half your Strength modifier rounded up (minimum 1). Mounted Combatant should not give you advantage on attack rolls as that is again broken, and should be removed. Besides that, the feature is fine. Chromatic Surge is a feature that should not exist in D&D, as exchanging damage for actions should not be a thing and should be removed. Again, see Class Do's and Don'ts (5e Guideline). I hope that with these last few changes the class will be more balanced and better conform to 5e.--Blobby383b (talk) 22:12, 30 October 2017 (MDT)
- Thank you for the specifics, as I read through them I realized they most were severely unbalanced. I'm not sure what I was thinking. Not sure what you meant about exchanging damage for attacks. Chromatic surge was just a variant on the fighter's action surge ability, but I have changed it to more of a lay hands type effect.
- So once more I addressed the balance issues and removed the tag. Should you have further concerns please specify what you would like me to work on.--Arklorn (talk) 08:26, 31 October 2017 (MDT)--
- There are a few capitalization errors and the wording on some features can be cleaned up, but besides that the class looks much better, good job.--Blobby383b (talk) 22:53, 1 November 2017 (MDT)
