Talk:Chords of Dissonance (5e Spell)

Fell free to leave any suggestions if the spell seems unbalanced or confusing. I intended to try my hand at making something called a "Spellsong", where it acts as more of a bardic performance than an actual spell. Hence the reason why the duration is "Performance". The spell is also meant to be much weaker than a typical spell of the same level - at least at first. The power of this spell comes from sustaining it with a Bard's performance skill.

Also, if you guys have any ideas on what to make using this format, please let me know.

Hey, idea, why not word the duration as "Concentration" up to an, maybe 2 hours. Reason being, I believe that would make this complete, it would make sense (because concentrating on something that requires a performance check would be taxing on the body, after a certain period of time), and it would mechanically work and still be flavorful.
