Looking at the Spell[edit]
Looking at this spell, it seems to be a aoe spell that effects are based on alignment. While this is fine, the spell does do a number of odd or slightly imbalanced things, so I will be attempting to look through the spell and offer suggestions on how to fix these issues.
- I actually really like how you can choose the damage type of this spell based on which alignments you are. However, I would argue that True Neutral pc's should be able to cast this spell as their beliefs, although not the opposite of anything, are still different from the beliefs held by those of other alignments.
- The damage of the spell should only deal one amount of damage (probably 5d12) or else you will find that the low end damage of the spell will too weak or the high end damage of the spell will be too strong.
- Because the damage is standardized, there should probably be other effects added to the spell to emphasize chastising those of different alignments being effective and chastising those of the same alignment not being effective. This effect however probably shouldn't be too powerful, as such I came up with the following two ideas: those affected by this spell of the same alignment have advantage on the saving throw and those affected by the spell that are of the opposite alignment to you can not gain advantage on the saving throw for this spell(as disadvantage would be way too powerful).--Blobby383b (talk) 20:43, 18 September 2019 (MDT)
