Item balance[edit]
Hey Mara, your balance stub was interesting. The goal was to be two shortswords, attached by chain. I couldn’t draw a parallel to a polearm since those do considerably more damage, eg d10 or d12. I reduced the “off-hand” damage to d4 to appease the balance stub but as mentioned, it’s intended as two shortswords. How does allowing this item reach require the damage be reduced?
