Talk:Celestial Symbiote (5e Subclass)

Hi everyone,

This is my first time creating and reworking a subclass, and I’d love to hear your thoughts! With the Celestial Symbiote, I wanted to design a subclass that felt dynamic and unique, blending the roles of a melee combatant, healer, and radiant avenger. My inspiration came from the idea of a Warlock having a deeply personal and symbiotic connection with their patron, where this bond isn’t always harmonious but provides immense power.

My goals for this subclass:

Balance: I aimed to make the Celestial Symbiote combat-oriented without overshadowing other subclasses. Roleplay Opportunities: I wanted the symbiotic relationship to create meaningful internal struggles and roleplaying hooks. Flexibility: The subclass should feel viable both as a support character and as a front-line combatant in melee, depending on how players use the features. I know this is still a work in progress, and I’m open to constructive criticism. If you have any suggestions for mechanics, wording, or flavor improvements, I’d greatly appreciate it!
