Notes[edit]

Creator's Notes: This is basically the idea for Ricasan law, and in general an appearance of the country as a whole: stark and minimalist, getting the point across as plainly as possible, with no flowery language. Admittedly, several of these will likely never come up in-game, unless your DM's got the Book of Erotic Fantasy (yes, that's its title) with him. But in writing these, I tried to make them fit so that they would work for two standards: for an in-game law set, and for a real nation. And I couldn't have gotten a better writer than the blunt, fiery revolutionary who currently sits on the Throne of Madness. It's often been my opinion that law is too overbuilt, so I went for the opposite: a set of laws to put lawyers out of business. Laws so easy to understand that a kobold can make sense of them. And I honestly think I succeeded.

Admittedly, #14 isn't really needed, and no other nation on Ricasa has it. But it's a law I'd love to see made real. --The Archivist 16:31, 29 August 2007 (MDT)
