Talk:Brutish Hulk (Fallout Supplement)
From D&D Wiki
Dogs and deathclaws are fully-playable races and this feat is one of the perks for playing them. For that reason, I think that the racial requirement should be reimplemented. I'm otherwise impartial to the other changes made.--GamerAim (talk) 13:45, 5 January 2017 (MST)
- I had forgot that they were added in the supplement as playable races. In the fallout computer games they are not an option and I don't use them in my game. However since they are presented in the supplement as playable races I agree. I reinstated the race requirement and increased the HP gained some. --Zemfreed (talk)
- Note that the races themselves (dogs and deathclaws at least) are in Fallout Tactics multiplayer games as an option. The feats that have been made so far were more-or-less direct conversions of perks from the video games, with the results you have seen. It was lazy, methodical, unbalanced and sometimes nonsensical, but now you know the origins :P I had always intended to go back and redo them, taking into account the d20 Modern rules and balance, as well as the intent of the original content, but every time I think about it, I realize how much work it would be (and honestly, it'd be easier to start from scratch than redo all the pages).--GamerAim (talk) 19:06, 5 January 2017 (MST)
