Talk:Boon of Incredible Dweomercrafting (5e Epic Boon)

From D&D Wiki

I believe it is up to the DM to decide if the crafting an artifact is allowable in their campaign, not you. Since epic boons are chosen by the DM, not selected by the player, their decision to allow or not the crafting of an artifact, and the requirement of a boon to do so, would be their decision. Think of it like this, if they choose to allow the crafting of an Artifact, and in so doing, limit that crafting to post level 20 characters blessed by whatever higher power grants these boons, then who are we to gainsay them.

Also, at 250gp per day of work, it wil take the character almost 55 years to make it, it would take an army of assistants to reduce the crafting time to something that could happen within the time frame of a campaign.

I've removed the artefact creation. As I've noted elsewhere today, artefacts are worked into the story by the DM. If the story has a PC creating an artefact, that's already worked out between the player and the DM, it doesn't need to be achieved through a boon. Marasmusine (talk) 06:18, 17 April 2018 (MDT)
