What was meant is obvious. Instead of crafting objects in 5gp per work day increments, the crafter works considerably faster, making them in 50gp per day increments. The "Masterwork" line is about making the objects at a far higher quality than the base item. The difference between a Katana you buy at your local dojo, and a Masamune.
