Talk:Blitzkrieg (5e Equipment)
From D&D Wiki
This is, frankly, a bit of a mess as is. It looks like a flame tongue (a rare magic item), however, it has several poorly-worded attributes and some benefits that are just plain overpowered, and certainly not for a very rare weapon (The user is no longer required to make saving throws involving fire or combustion of characters/enemies.) The terminology is also a bit wonky (hp should be hit points). SirSprinkles (talk) 16:36, 2 November 2016 (MDT)
If I had more time tonight, I would be super-generous and rewrite this into a usable state. The question I ask myself, when seeing a weapon that needs rewriting, is "does it do anything more interesting than 'more damage'?". In this case the answer is "barely". It's also odd that it's named after a 20th century military technique. Marasmusine (talk) 17:10, 2 November 2016 (MDT)
