Talk:Ballistic Shield (5e Equipment)

Duplicate article?

There's two modern shields on the wiki right now; this one and Riot Shield. They both seem to be the same thing, just different names. Bit confusing, especially how they have different game mechanics for accomplishing the same thing. I propose we label one a variant of the other, so as to show they're trying to accomplish the same task in different ways. Oportet (talk) 00:47, 30 December 2016 (MST)

Ah, I see. I'm reading through the articles now. Apparently, all ballistic shields are riot shields, but only the riot shields capable of stopping bullets are ballistic. Might add pics/edit description to avoid confusion. Oportet (talk) 12:28, 30 December 2016 (MST)
