Talk:Awaken Ooze (5e Spell)

The awaken spell for Bards and Druids seems to be more expansive than this spell, as well as the fact that their spell level is 5, instead of 8 like this spell. Is there a reason why this spell is more costly than the standard awaken spell, or should this be rebalanced? --74.84.67.52 07:47, 17 August 2017 (MDT)

Oozes are more dangerous than an awakened tree or shrub. Imagine having a charmed gelatinous cube instead of an awakened tree. It's also "outside class scope" (in the same way that a healing spell would be more "costly" for a wizard). Marasmusine (talk) 08:13, 17 August 2017 (MDT)
