Talk:Arcane Blade (5e Class)
I feel this class would be better as a set of Rogue subclasses rather than a whole class, given it shares almost everything with the rogue class except the Jack of all Trades feature; the spellcasting (barring Arcane Tricksters); and of course, the subclasses which are the only substantial difference. Stopping in to make a typo fix, the "Earth Arcana" class should be bold, but for some reason I think the period made it so it wasn't? Anyway, CHEERS.--Cransiosis (talk) 00:41, 19 April 2019 (MDT)
If it is innate spellcasting, it shouldn't be arcane, and shouldn't require a spellbook. -Eledin
The level 15 Necrotic Arcana is grossly overpowered. It should at minimum allow a save to prevent instant death. I also agree with Eledin - a CHA-based caster should be innate and not be relying on a spellbook. For the class' spellcasting ability to function as-is, this should be an INT-based caster. --JohnnyWhoa (talk) 17:15, 3 June 2020 (MDT)
I always thought Rogue was way too undertuned for a class in 2024, so I'm glad I can finally play a Rogue with a higher hit die, half-caster abilities, cantrips included, and more spells known than the ranger, better expertise and multi attack along with a less cumbersome sneak attack. That's not even getting into the super cool sub-classes that can give me abilities to shut down fights or do priest-level healing for no cost. And that's all before level 7! Finally a class that's right for me! --vladulenta (talk) 21:24, 10 January 2025 (UTC)
