Talk:Antimagic Shield (5e Equipment)
From D&D Wiki
Gaining advantage on certain saving throws against spells is considered to be very powerful, but this item just makes you immune to spells(an possibly allies as well). In the shield's current state, I can not say that it is even close to being balanced.--Blobby383b (talk) 17:48, 23 September 2017 (MDT)
The idea is that it shuts down magic around it, except for your other magic items. This includes your allies' magic, as well as your magic. Remember that Antimagic Field is a 10 foot radius, and that this is the center. I just edited it, though. -MakerCaker
Yeah but it still would be an overpowered item. Besides that, the cone idea for antimagic is very unique, I was expecting you to change it to be generic(advantage on certain saving throws from magic) but they way the shield was changed works great as well.--Blobby383b (talk) 22:21, 23 September 2017 (MDT)
It seems like you would need to attune to the shield in order to keep your own magic items functioning. –Pimplup (talk) 16:34, 21 May 2020 (MDT)

We don't own the image either, it comes from Wizards of the Coast. I'm guessing you can just go ahead and use it. --Pimplup (talk) 15:14, 1 February 2021 (MST)
