Talk:Anthromals (3.5e Race)
From D&D Wiki
Anthrowolves: -2 Constitution? Frail? Honestly that comes off as odd to me. Wolves have a magnificent endurance, able to run at near full speed for 12 hours straight. It takes a lot to tire out a wolf. But, I really don't know what else can be a stat penalty... maybe wisdom perhaps, they are intelligent enough to come up with tactics for fighting as a pack, but often fail at taking down their prey despite being better in nearly everything physical over a cougar, who will take down their prey nearly everytime. Both hunt bigger animals then themselves btw. Just something to consider
Anthrohedgehog: Could you also put some information on how to get the Quills back without waiting the 1d6 weeks? Like some sort of spell/healing skill check?
- The -2 Con for the Anthrowolf seemed odd to me, too. Wisdom and Charisma are a wolf's lowest stats besides Intelligence so one of those would probably be good to get the -2. In fact, Constitution is their highest stat, tied with Dexterity.
- I was wondering if you would consider allowing me to add more animal variations of Anthromals to this page. They wouldn't neccessarily add any variety to the Ability Scores changes but they would probably add changes to the skill bonuses and other things.--Suezotiger 02:53, 6 August 2010 (UTC)
