Talk:Androphobia (3.5e Flaw)
From D&D Wiki
Static DCs are a bad idea[edit]
For a flaw like this, having a static DC like 15 is a pretty bad idea because it means that higher-level characters will never fail the save and lower-level characters will almost always fail. Surgo 12:45, 9 March 2009 (MDT)
- The DC should probably be based on the offending male's level(s). Example idea: DC 10 + (the guy's level, highest if multiple) + (2 for each additional guy with a level higher than you) + (1 for each additional guy with a level not higher than yours) -- saint23thomas -- 05:47, 12 June 2010 (UTC)
Preprequisite Non-Male?[edit]
Couldn't you apply this to a male himself? It would be rather interesting for a man to be afraid of other men, wouldn't it? -- Wyrm 20:30, 12 April 2009
- In real life somebody with androphobia can be a man or a woman, it only makes sense for it to effect both genders in the game too. --Vrail 06:01, 12 June 2010 (UTC)
- I agree. That really shouldn't be a prerequisite for taking this flaw. -- saint23thomas -- 16:55, 12 June 2010 (UTC)
- I changed it. If anybody disagrees or has a complaint about this change they can take it up on this talk page. --Vrail 17:06, 12 June 2010 (UTC)
