Changes[edit]

While I was templating this flaw, I took away the different options for birth defect verses injury. I did this because that should really be a roleplaying difference. --saint23thomas -- 04:37, 12 June 2010 (UTC)

I'm going to remove the part about losing the flaw and feat if you regain the limb. That just seems too obvious to need saying. — saint23thomas – 21:23, 24 July 2014 (MDT)

Balance[edit]

Horrible idea dude, no 1 will take such a handicap for 1 feat 92.83.180.102 18:13, 18 June 2010 (UTC)

Well, then again, if you lose a limb while adventuring, a nice DM would allow you to take this flaw and gain an extra feat. So I agree, not many people will take this at character creation, however it can be useful. :) --Vrail 18:16, 18 June 2010 (UTC)
I just templated it and stripped away a lot of bushtill. Actually, before that, I think it was less useful for characters that lost a limb in-game because the penalties were a lot higher for recent amputees but all you got extra was +1 to will saves.
Still, you're probably right. This might work better if it gave two feats and counted as two flaws. Although, we might need to bring back some of the higher penalties to keep it balanced. --saint23thomas -- 21:08, 18 June 2010 (UTC)
If you see a problem with this please add Template:Needsbalance. --Green Dragon 00:10, 20 June 2010 (UTC)
It works better if you link people to the page with the instructions. -- saint23thomas -- 01:19, 20 June 2010 (UTC)
