Unfinished Classes[edit]
If I might ask politely that people stop posting classes without actually starting them or the powers. It is quite frustrating to find out a new class has been posted, and then have your hopes crushed by the blank page presented to you by a person's lack of creativity or effort (whichever the case may be). I ask you this sincerely and for anyone who does not intend on posting more than a name to remove their blank page.
I'm just kidding around.... xD... but seriously guyz don't post if you're not planning on doing anything with it, Plz? --Pyrofreek 22:19, 8 April 2009 (MDT)
- Good advice that needs to be given to posters of classes or anything at all on the wiki, period. Surgo 22:20, 8 April 2009 (MDT)
- If you would not mind it would help by adding Template:Delete to the hopelessly unfinished classes, and Template:NeedsBalance to the classes which are unplayable but are mostly complete and have a good idea behind them. I imagine this would actually solve the problem. Since people (just speculating here) most likely look a bit through the classes before posting their own class, and if they see that only finished classes are present and even among the finished classes only the ones which have balance in mind are considered "playable", they would be less inclined to add unfinished classes or classes which do not have balance in mind. Aka solving the problem. --Green Dragon 04:14, 9 April 2009 (MDT)
- You want me to do that? or everyone? I think I'm going to start doing that Pyrofreek 18:42, 9 April 2009 (MDT)
- All done! Man I should get an award or something. And from now on you'll have to call me Pyrofreek, scourge of the unfinished 4e posts. Pyrofreek 19:56, 9 April 2009 (MDT)
Desc[edit]
Um, quick question, why don't the descriptions work? --Pyrofreek 09:07, 13 April 2009 (MDT)
- I formatted the base classes page. All of the infrastructural pages within the 4e class section should be changed to match that. Also, to make the descriptions show up, an infobox (filled out) needs to be added to each class. Also, we probably need to decide what to do with the SRD links. --Green Dragon 10:03, 13 April 2009 (MDT)
Is it just me?[edit]
I guess I'm still sort of new-ish around here but I was snooping around and I looked back at a class without a deletion template on it. And I thought, huh, well that's funny I could've sworn I put a deletion template on that one, oh well I'll just put another one in case I didn't. Then I looked at another one and it was also missing the template. Am I missing something? Are the people removing the templates and I just couldn't find it in the history? I just don't know what to think, can you help me out? Pyrofreek 12:38, 14 April 2009 (MDT)
- I removed Template:Delete from the songweaver, as I have not finished with it yet. --Sam Kay 02:19, 14 April 2009 (MDT)
- That's understandable but there was one on Clothen Master and someone took that off and same for Combat Mage, both of which are not being used. Pyrofreek 12:38, 14 April 2009 (MDT)
- Being used or usable? If you meant they were not usable then free free to add Template:Delete back on. I mean - who knows if they are being used or not. --Green Dragon 09:40, 5 May 2009 (MDT)
