Have At It[edit]
800 AD is a great time to go adventuring!
I hope folks continue to grow and expand this "virtual sourcebook."--Dmilewski 10:52, 30 August 2007 (MDT)
AD vs CE[edit]
I am wondering if this should be labeled as "800 AD" or "800 CE". I think CE (common era) is the better option since it has no religious innuendos and is more accurate (christ, according to scientists, actually died a bit later (year wise) than is stated). Also CE is becoming the standard when referring to years. I think CE is a better option than AD. Ideas? --Green Dragon 15:44, 30 August 2007 (MDT)
- All technically correct. Yet, it just doesn't have that same ring to it that AD does. Yet, you know, the subject will keep coming up. If I was going to stick to the Francish empire, I'd stick to my guns. A.D. OR BUST. This little project is already bigger than that. I am sure that others will come up with the same observation. So, let's just change it now. --Dmilewski 18:39, 30 August 2007 (MDT)
- Your right, it does sound a little silly. Oh well, it works. --Green Dragon 23:10, 30 August 2007 (MDT)
