Sylv[edit]

Personality[edit]

Sylv tend to be a secretive and secluded race of nomadic tribes. The types related to venomous snakes are usually more slender and sly with vicious tempers, while constrictors are more large and slothful with apathetic attitudes.

Physical Description[edit]

The sylv range from 5'6 to around 6", with the women smaller than the men. Their weight is usually around 180 for constrictors, and 140 for venomous. Their skin can be any natural colour, and may have a few scales or other small snake-like details. The Sylv eyes are usually yellow with slitted pupils, though they could be perfectly normal in appearance. Their teeth tend to be slightly thinner and longer, especially the canines. Their noses are smaller than normal, and their tongues are often forked.

Relations[edit]

The sylv tend to get along best with races more in tune with nature, such as elves, though they are often also friends of various halflings and gnomes. They do not particularly like dwarves, though they don't dislike them either. Human's are generally disliked for their industrializationary efforts and general disdain toward snakes. The more evil tribes often get along with Drow, if their paths cross.

Alignment[edit]

A sylv can be of any alignment, but they tend to lean toward neutral. The venomous are more often chaotic, and the constrictors are usually lawful.

Lands[edit]

Sylv have no particular lands of their own, for they are nomadic tribes. Sometimes they will stick to certain regions, however, which usually matches with their snake type.

Religion[edit]

Most sylv worship the spirits, following their tribe's shaman and/or druid.

Language[edit]

Automatic Sylv languages: Sylvan, Common, Elven Bonus Sylv languages: Any

Names[edit]

The Sylv take a name when they first change forms, and the names are usually more subtle for the venomous, while the constrictors are more emphasized. Ex. Venomous-Sothe Constrictor-Kiros
