Benefit: Grants a +2 bonus to Science checks to detect various within 100 miles.
This bulky scanner requires two hands to use, or can optionally be linked to a heads-up display in a vehicle or suit of armor.
Its bonus applies to detecting the following:
- Anomalies with the electric, photon, ion, thermal, toxic or corrosive keywords,
- Robots, vehicles,
- Transpoders,
- Geological and atmospheric features such as elevation, bodies of water and humidity.
