These finely crafted mechanical marvels preform both as masterwork surgical tools and as a masterwork weapon. Due to the care required to make functional surgical claws the claws must always be masterwork. If broken they cannot be used as surgical tools.
A surgical claw is a masterwork weapon. Wielding it provides a +1 enhancement bonus on attack rolls.
A surgical claw deals 1 point of damage each round for 1d4 rounds following a successful critical hit. This repeating damage does not apply to creatures immune to critical hits.
