Summoner[edit]

Summoners are people that summon creatures to do things for them like fight or work.

Quick Build[edit]

You can make a Summoner quickly by following these suggestions. First, Wisdom should be your highest ability score, followed by Constitution. Second, choose the Criminal background.

Class Features

As a Summoner you gain the following class features.

Hit Points

Hit Dice: 1d6 per Summoner level
Hit Points at 1st Level: 6 + Constitution modifier
Hit Points at Higher Levels: 1d6 (or 4) + Constitution modifier per Summoner level after 1st

Proficiencies

Armor: light armor
Weapons: simple weapons
Tools: none
Saving Throws: Wisdom, Charisma
Skills: Choose 2 from animal handling, arcana, deception, perception, and persuasion

Equipment

You start with the following equipment, in addition to the equipment granted by your background:

  • (a) a wooden shield or (b) any simple weapon
  • (a) a quarterstaff or (b) any simple weapon
  • leather armor
  • explorer's pack

a friend[edit]

at 1st level you get 5 summon charges that fully recharge with a long/short rest. you are able to control your summons. you can use a charge as an action to summon a rat with 5+wis hp, 8 armor class, does 1d4+wis piercing damage, 10ft speed, and has disadvantage on all saving throws. when summoning, you summon the creature in a 5ft radius of you.

at 5th level you now have 11 summon charges. you can now summon a chicken as an action with 12+wis hp, 11 armor class, does 1d6+wis slashing damage, 20ft speed, and has disadvantage on all saving throws. when summoning you summon the creature in a 15ft radius of you.

at 10th level you now have 17 summon charges. you can now summon a hawk as an action with 19+wis hp, 14 armor class, does 1d8+wis slashing damage, 5ft walk and 30ft flight speed, and has disadvantage on all saving throws. when summoning you summon the creature in a 25ft radius of you.

at 15th level you now have 23 summon charges. you can now summon a dire wolf as an action with 26+wis hp, 17 armor class, does 1d10+wis slashing damage, 30ft speed, and has disadvantage on all saving throws. when summoning you summon the creature in a 35ft radius of you.

at 20th level you now have 29 summon charges. you can now summon a imp as an action with 33+wis hp, 20 armor class, does 1d12+wis piercing damage, 40ft speed, and has advantage on all saving throws. when summoning you summon the creature in a 50ft radius of you.

Multi summon[edit]

at 2nd level when you use a friend you are able to summon 1d4 creatures. at 6th level you are able to summon 1d6. at 11th level you are able to summon 1d8. at 17th level you are able to summon 1d10 at 20th level you are able to summon 1d10+wis.

Summoner sense[edit]

at 3rd level you able to communicate with your summons. at 7th level you are able to talk telepathically to your summons no matter how far away you are. at 13th level as an action you are able to share scenes with your summons(see what there seeing) no matter how far away you.

Summon movement[edit]

at 9th level you and your summons are able to use and action to teleport to each other but when one teleports they switch position you can use this if you are in a 40ft radius of the summon you want to teleport to, you can do this 2+wis times before needing a long/short rest. at 14th level you are now able to do this in a 80ft radius the summon you want to in teleport to.

Summon heal[edit]

at 18th level as an action you can sacrifice on of your summons to heal one ally in a 10ft radius of the sacrificed summon they heal the summons current hp, you can do this 5 times before needing a long or short rest.

Ability Score Improvement[edit]

When you reach 4th level, and again at 8th, 12th, 16th and 19th level, you can increase one ability score of your choice by 2, or you can increase two ability scores of your choice by 1. As normal, you can't increase an ability score above 20 using this feature.
